Andre is a leader in the nations Re-Entry movement. With over 600,000 prisoners being released each year, Re-Entry programs are vital to the transition back into society for these men & women.
Currently at least 70% of all prisoners released from prison commit new crimes or violate their parole and are returned to prison.
The result of these new arrests can not only be counted in the returning to prison alone. They also represent over 400,000 new victims. The impact on the 1.5 million children of these people is not able to be measured by any stats. Our society is suffering with the breakdown of the Re-Entry process.
Andre goes into the prisons talking with prisoners about Re-Entry. He believes that every prisoner with the right Re-Entry training program can become a successful person. Andre provides straight talk about “what is” and what “can be”. Having spent 14 years in Federal, State, County & Juvenile institutions, Andre understands the Re-Entry process from the inside out.
For the last ten years Andre has spoken to prisoners and trained institutional staff and administrator across our country about Re-Entry. He currently runs his own institutional Re-Entry program. He has also helped set up some of Boston Award Winning Re-Entry programs. Andre will sit with your staff with one
